Labtops are Horrible

Laptops are Horrible!
Have you ever thought about what would happen if kids got addicted to laptops? They would turn into evil zombie brats! Getting a laptop for every student would be a ridiculous idea. First of all, it would cost so much money; I don't think I can even count that high! I also think that some laptops would be stolen or lost. I mean you can't trust every student. Last but not least, they always require charge, You wouldn't want it to die right in the middle of class. Also cords would be everywhere! That's why laptops shouldn't be provided to every student.
If we got laptops for the whole school it would be way too expensive. The school would be in so much dept it wouldn't even be funny. The school would also have to buy more each year. If the school tried to do a fundraiser the chances of getting enough money for laptops would be very slim. That's why laptops would be too expensive.
I also think that if we got laptops for the whole school, kids would try to steal them and lose them. I mean, there's always at least one kid that you can't trust with something that expensive. Kids will try to secretly sell them around town, or on Ebay. Finally, if it does get stolen, the police will have to get involved and it will cause the school a lot of trouble. That's why laptops have a chance at getting stolen.
Last but not least, the school shouldn't get laptops because they always require charge. Students could go to turn on their computers and then realize they have a dead battery. If students bring chargers, there wouldn't be enough outlets in the room for everybody. Finally, students could lose their charging cables. So the school shouldn't get laptops because they always require charging.
The school shouldn't provide laptops to each student for three reasons. One, the laptops would be too expensive. Two, the laptop might get stolen. Three, the laptops always require charge. So unless you want your kids to turn into evil zombie brats, don't let the school provide them laptops.

Five Paragaph Essay

Michael The Best Basketball Player There Ever Was

When I grow up I think I would make a great basketball player. I've always enjoyed playing basketball. One of my favorite things to do is play basketball. I even have some experience at playing basketball. I'm really good at working as a team, I like shooting and I can play any position, therefore, I will be the best basketball player there ever was.

Working as a team has always come naturally to me. There was that time when I made a behind the back pass to my teamate. I'm always ready to pass the ball. Whenever I pass the ball, I feel really good. Being able to be a team player is the first step along the path to becoming a professional basketball player.

Shooting is another thing I really enjoy. It's so exciting to shoot the basketball. When I'm shooting I feel like a majestic eagle. I am to shooting, what jelly is to peanut butter. Being able to shoot for the rest of my life would be awesome.

Playing any position takes a special talent. I gained a lot of experience at playing any position. I learned about the positions. For example they are all very important. The time I spent practicing is sure to give me an advantage when it comes to becoming a basketball player.

The three most important ingredients required in order to become a successful basketball player are working as a team, being able to shoot, and playing any position, and I've got them all I want to play basketball. I'm never so happy as when I'm in the midst of playing basketball. It's like my mom said, "You are the best player in the world." When I play basketball, I play good, and that's why I'll be the best basketball player there ever was!

Kenny never saw Caleb again after that night, but he knew that they would always be friends forever. That is a synopsis of Something Upstairs by AVI.

One of the main themes in the book is friendship. an example of how this is shown is when Kenny and Caleb meet, they become friends. Another theme is bravery. An example of how this theme is shown is when Kenny is brave enough to shoot Willinghast. Those are some of the themes in this book.

Freak the Mighty, by Rodman Philbrick is about a 7 foot tall boy named Max and a 2 foot tall boy named Kevin. They have many adventures together. Since Kevin is so small Max carries him on his back wherever they go. Max lives with his grandparents because his dad is a killer that killed his mom. One of the adventures they have is when Max's dad gets out of jail and kidnaps Max. He takes Max to one of his friends' houses. They stay there for awhile until Kevin pops in and rescues him with a squirt gun. He makes Max's dad think that his eyes are burning. Then Kevin has to go to the hospital and ends up dying because his heart got to big for his body. That is how the book ends.

One of the main themes in this book is friendship. An example of how this theme is shown is when Max and Kevin meet they become friends. Another theme is action. An example of how this theme is shown is when they meet they become friends and have all kinds of adventures. Those are some of the main themes in this book.

I would recommend this book to other 7th graders because it is very funny and it has lots of adventures. I also think it shows that just because you're bigger than everybody else, it doesn't mean you have to be a bully. On the flip side just because you're smaller then everybody else, it doesn't mean you have to be the kid getting bullied. That is why i would recommend this book to other 7th graders.

I hope you enjoyed my review of Freak the Mighty, Keep checking my blog too see more!

Movie Review: Lifted

Lifted, by Rod Ryderson is about an alien who is learning how to abduct humans. He tries to abduct the human but ends up thrashing him around and breaking things. He finally gets him up in the spaceship but then he drops him. Finally, right before the human hits the ground the big alien takes over and saves the human. the big alien fixes everything so that it is back to normal. While they are getting ready to leave, the small alien starts crying so the big alien lets the small alien drive the ship. Right when it looks like everything will be okay the small alien crashes the ship into the house. He destroys everything except the man and his bed. Then the aliens fly off into space and the short film ends.
One of the main themes in the film is forgiveness. An example of how this theme is shown is when the small alien does everything wrong and the big alien still gives him another chance. Another theme is learning. An example would be that in the film the small alien is learning how to abduct humans. Those are some of the themes in this short film.
I would recommend this book to any age because it is really funny. There are lessons that kids can learn. I think a person who likes aliens and comedy would really enjoy this short film. his movie would also be great for parents who have kids. That is why I would recommend this short film to any age.
I hope you enjoyed my decription of lifted by Rod Ryderson. Keep checking my blog to see more.
